KCET-TV Los Angeles will air HUMBLE BEAUTY on Tuesday, July 12th at 8 pm as part of a fund-raising event for the station and their non-profit partner the Midnight Mission. Val Zavala, veteran KCET anchor, and Leyla Farah will host the show. Ed Begley, Jr., actor, environmentalist and homeless advocate will be the spokesperson for The Midnight Mission. Filmmakers Letitia Schwartz and Judith Vogelsang will be interviewed during the pledge breaks. Graduates of the rehab and other programs of the Midnight Mission will share their inspirational stories. In lieu of sending you a thank you gift, when you donate $60 or more to KCET they will provide food, shelter and toiletries to men, women and children in need through the services of The Midnight Mission. KCET will air HUMBLE BEAUTY several times without interruption through 2014. KCET is the largest independent public TV station in the United States and has served the Los Angeles area for over 40 years as the former flagship PBS station in LA.

The Craft and Folk Art Museum of Los Angeles screens HUMBLE BEAUTY on Thursday, June 24th at sunset in the museum's inner courtyard. A Q&A session with the filmmakers follows the screening and several paintings from Skid Row artists will be on display. This is a free event, open to the public. The Hope and Freedom Festival selected HUMBLE BEAUTY to screen Saturday, May 22nd, 6 pm at the Long Beach Art Theatre, 2025 E. 4th Street, Long Beach, CA. A Q&A session with the filmmakers follows the screening. This is a free event, open to the public. HUMBLE BEAUTY is one of only two features selected for the festival and we are delighted to be a part of the first year of the Hope and Freedom Festival which is inspired by the work and mission of the NAACP. HUMBLE BEAUTY is featured in a half-hour Los Angeles TV program, "The Arts, Culture & Us," hosted by Michael Blaze on Time Warner cable systems. The program includes interviews with filmmakers Letitia Schwartz and Judith Vogelsang as well as extensive clips from the film. It airs on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 on Channel 24 & 35 at 11 pm in Los Angeles, Baldwin Hills, South Central and Inglewood. On Tuesday, November 25 it airs on Ch. 98 & 77 at 6:30 pm in West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Eagle Rock, Pacific Palisades, Marina del Rey, Studio City, Woodland Hills and Pasadena.!
